A ceremony honoring the Top 50 leading IT enterprises Vietnam 2017 was held on October 25th, in the framework of international conference on smart cities and 11th Japan ICT Day in Ho Chi Minh city.
Organised by Vietnam Software Association (VINASA) annually since 2014, the Top 50 leading information technology (IT) enterprises awards aims to select, certify and honor the country’s top IT companies, as well as promotes communication and increases the companies’ values in terms of image, branding and market shares, in the international IT arena.
Launched in June 2017, the organizing board strictly evaluates candidates in Business Process Outsourcing (BPO), IT Outsourcing, Knowledge Process Outsourcing (KPO), IT software, solutions and services; as well as digital content, applications and solutions for mobile.
Final statistics showed that total revenue of the 50 successful candidates reached VND20.676 trillion (around USD936 million), generating jobs for 35,542 people, including “big names” FPT Software, Global CyberSoft, KMS, FIS, CMC, MISA, MobiFone, VNPT, VNG, ELCOM, NextTech, MK Smart, RikkeiSoft, VMG, SmartOSC, Fujinet, DIGI-TEXX, and Swiss Post Solution.
For the very first time, the awards acknowledged those active in the fields of digital transformation, Internet of Things (IoT), and other new technology trends such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Big Data and Virtual Reality (VR).
It has created a strong impetus for companies to realize their visions and R&D projects as well.
On this occasion, a trilingual publication (Vietnamese, English and Japanese) on the Top 50 leading IT enterprises Vietnam 2017 was released as a key profile for VINASA for future promotion campaigns, both domestically and globally.
